At the end of January, Valentin Schober will officially take over the culinary leadership of the two restaurants at MONDI Resort am Grundlsee. A native of Bad Goisern, he not only comes from the region but is also deeply committed to continuing and further developing the regional concept “Unser Bestes,” which is based on close collaboration with local producers. The 31-year-old will continue to serve refined Austrian tavern-style cuisine at the Gasthaus SEEBLICK. Valentin Schober, who most recently worked at the Ledererhaus restaurant on Lake Wolfgang, plans to reopen the gourmet restaurant WASSERMANN in May 2026, introducing a refined and distinctive culinary concept of his own. Both restaurants welcome external guests as well as overnight guests of the resort.
