Head chef with a true flair for flavour
Johannes Ganisl, born in the Flachgau region of Salzburg province, is head chef at the MONDI Resort am Grundlsee. Truly a master of his craft he has the rare ability of conjuring up cuinary masterpieces in his head; he then effortlessly allows these ideas to mature into true symphonies before inrtoducing them to the seasonal menus. They are then perfected down to the last detail. Johannes and his team then treats diners at the SEEBLICK guest house restaurant to classic dishes prepared using high-quality, regional produce. In the WASSERMANN gourmet restaurant fine fish creations from Austria are predominately served.
Falstaff awarded the restaurant 2 forks (85 points) for the Seeblick guest house and 3 forks (90 points) for the gourmet restaurant: both ranking among the best restaurants in the Ausseerland region.
